The investment team at Levendi Investment Management have worked together for many years and have significant experience in structured investments and creating and managing funds and portfolios. The biographies of our Team can be seen below.

Frank Copplestone
Frank started his career in 1993 at Credit Suisse Financial Products as an Equity Derivatives trader based in London. He later worked at Bankers Trust as a senior multi-asset Equity Derivatives Trader before becoming Head of Exotic Equity Derivatives Trading at Commerzbank. After a decade as a trader, Frank moved to Deutsche Bank to build and manage the Quantitative Products Engineering businesses across EMEA and Asia, being based in London and Hong Kong. In 2008, Frank joined Morgan Stanley to run Financial Engineering in EMEA and Americas, being based in London and New York and later became Global Head of the Retail Structured Products platform. Prior to launching Levendi Investment Management, Frank was the Global Head of Equities (Structured Products) at Jefferies. Frank holds a Doctorate from Oxford University and is a Freeman of the City of London.

Matthew Robinson
Matt has over 25 years’ experience providing solutions to UK discretionary wealth managers and institutions. His initial decade in derivatives was spent within the UK structured marketing teams of Paribas and Merrill Lynch, both market leaders in their field. The next was at Morgan Stanley working with a multi-asset mandate, responsible for structured notes, protected cell companies and defined-return UCITS funds. He also transacted significant credit deals with UK life insurers. He then moved to the independent boutique sector and prior to joining Levendi was head of structured product distribution at GPP. Matt has built long term trusted relationships via the performance of the products structured and dealt with his client base.

Matthew Clapp
Since completing his MBA, Matthew has been involved in the Structured Investment arena for over ten years. With his wide ranging experience across asset classes, he has developed an deep understanding of the needs and demands of a broad investor base. Matthew is responsible for forging new and meaningful relationships within the DFM, Family Office and Private Bank community. Matthew advises and sits on the Board of a number of both public and private companies.

Alae Zitouni
Alae has been actively involved in most aspects of the Fund since close to inception from managing risk, deal origination, day to day processes, to liaison with the Fund’s stakeholders. He brought with him Investment experience from one of the biggest multi-jurisdictional offshore and onshore players in the Pension industry, looking after c. £2b of assets with a significant exposure to a variety of structured products. Previously to that Alae has held a number of positions which gave him a ‘full-stack’ range of experience and understanding of the Finance industry. Alae has conducted his education at top European Business Schools and holds a Masters in Finance.

Art Noble
Art is responsible for the product analysis that is at the heart of Levendi’s proposition. Art started to develop the model that we use to evaluate risk and return immediately after the March 2012 paper from the FCA. Prior to working on this Art was developing statistical arbitrage strategies and portfolio optimisation tools at Noble and Co. At J.P. Morgan Art was responsible for marketing derivative products and had a particular focus on hedge fund derivative solutions and asset and liability modelling. He was also responsible for building pricing models, risk management tools and value-at-risk techniques that became RiskMetrics.

Stefan Ricketts
Stefan is currently the Chief Legal Officer at NEOM Company, which is developing a region in the North West of Saudi Arabia as part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 strategic framework. Stefan is an English law solicitor and before joining NEOM has held Executive Committee roles in listed energy companies variously as General Counsel and as Commercial and Legal Director, Chief Risk Officer, and Company Secretary. He has been a Partner in a major international law firm and has worked across the globe including assignments in the UK, Paris, Dubai, Jakarta, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

Arek Martirossian
Before setting up Wealth Management Experts Ltd, Arek Martirossian worked at HSBC Bank, where he was one of the Bank’s top advisers in the UK. He advised entrepreneurs and business owners as well as commercial, corporate, personal and offshore clients. He has 30 years experience in the financial services industry.
He read Physics at Cardiff University before embarking on a career in finance. He lives in Sussex and is married with two children. He enjoys skiing, tennis, travelling and the occasional game of golf.
